I’m an educator, school counsellor, and counselling therapist with over 16 years experience helping children, teens and families thrive in school and at home. I’m also a mom to three children, ages 12 and under, so I understand just how hard parenting can be! As a parenting coach & counsellor, I believe all parents are doing the best they can. When parents fall short – which we all do, frequently – it takes strength to ask for help, seek advice, and implement some new strategies.

While raising my own children has been my best education, I also hold a Bachelor’s of Education in Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology in School Counselling, both from the University of Alberta. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C.) and a member of Association of Counselling Therapists of Alberta (ACTA). I have worked with children from preschool to high school and have a background coaching adult learners. In parent coaching/counselling sessions I apply my expertise in child development, education and counselling theory to help parents discover solutions that fit their family.
